NBOA is a small association of 20 staff members. For years we offered our employees one choice for medical, dental and vision, and we were at the mercy of our insurance provider with no clout when it came to premium increases or changes in the insurance program. Some years we had double-digit increases which were financially difficult for the association and our employees. By joining AMHIC, we now offer our employees a variety of high quality options to meet our staff’s health insurance needs, we know AMHIC is working on our behalf to manage annual premium increases, and with additional AMHIC program offerings, like the Health Advocate, our association is better positioned to help our staff get the best information and support regarding their health insurance coverage.
