Ms. Silverstein joined AMHIC in January 2020. As the Operations Specialist, she communicates with the board of directors, members and vendors. Additional responsibilities include meeting planning, website development and maintenance, general accounting and marketing efforts.
Stephanie has extensive experience in the field of education, working with children of all ages and abilities. She specializes in working with students at the middle school, high school and college level who struggle with ADHD and executive function disorder – to manage their time, space, materials and information. In addition, Stephanie has worked in a variety of nonprofits including museums, associations and social service agencies throughout the Washington metropolitan area – managing marketing and outreach activities, board and member communications, event planning, curriculum design and workforce development.
Ms. Silverstein holds a Master of Arts in learning disabilities from American University and a Bachelor of Science in special education from the University of Hartford.
